Sinéad’s Visit to Florida – Part 3 + Jack’s Visit!

This is the last part of my series on Sinéad’s visit and it makes me sad that it’s almost over — I’m glad I have so many pictures to remember it! 😀

Aside from eating at various new vegan places, visiting magical Harry Potter Land, drinking lots of coffee, baking cupcakes and “scooping lefts”, we also visited one of my absolute very favorite places in the world – DISNEY WORLD! Disney is a truly magical place and makes me happier than almost anything else. From the rides and decorations to the employee costumes and music, I love everything about it (except maybe the lines/crowds!).

We spent the day exploring the Magic Kingdom so we could do and see the most tourist-y type things at the park during Sinéad’s vacation. If you ask at Guest Services, they’ll give you a free pin depending on the occasion! Sinéad got one for her first visit to the park and mine was celebrating (a friend’s visit!).

A few months after Sinéad’s visit to me, her brother happened to be traveling through Florida and Sinéad let me know since he didn’t have a lot planned while here. We ended up visiting Disney World together, and sent pictures back to Sinéad telling her how much we missed her! It was so much fun meeting a member of her family – especially one with so much in common with me that was so much fun to be around!

We didn’t take nearly as many photos as Sinéad and I, so I figured I’d include the collage here! 😀

I have plans to eventually travel “across the pond” to visit them (and their lovely mother, whom I’ve video chatted with during Sinéad’s trip!) and see all the wonderful things in Europe — can’t wait to eventually have that experience to share on my blog! 🙂

The internet is a wonderful place and it’s pretty great how it can bring people together and allow us to maintain friendships across continents for over a decade. I’m so grateful to Sinéad for taking the time to come visit me and spend the time she did with me, and I’m glad I could spend a day with a part of her family and trick him into smiling despite his best efforts at not wanting to adore Mickey Mouse! 😛
