Weekend Wrap-Up: June 9, 2019

What a week! I’ve had such a busy last few days, but I can’t complain about much other than this stupid muscle in my neck/shoulder I pulled. D:

I’ve started my third and fourth current jobs recently, and I finally feel like I sort of know what I’m doing with them, which is pretty great! One of them involves handling the social media posting & blogs for 4 different photography brands (all are amazing, my boss is INCREDIBLY talented!), and the other is as a photobooth attendant for events – weddings, corporate, birthdays, etc. I’ve made it through training and have my first solo event this upcoming week – it’s a 13 year old’s 80s hair metal themed birthday party, so I am EXCITED! πŸ˜€ Some of the pictures below are from my last wedding event – they fed me tacos!!! I love tacos so much, omg. Best wedding food!

Aside from that, I had a slight stall to my outgoing Etsy orders these last 2 weeks – first an issue with printing, and then an issue with supplies required to actually send them out! I’ll have everything I need by the end of this week (and will be tossing in some free stuff to thank people for their patience).

I have a couple days off toward the end of this next week, so I’m hoping I’ll get through some of the titles I have on my current TBR (I’m in the middle of 4 books, oops!), and get a few reviews posted/scheduled.

The only other exciting thing I can think of is that THE NEW EXPANSION FOR SIMS 4 WAS REVEALED AT E3!! We’re getting Island Living this month, which I’m super excited about, and more stuff throughout the year. I’m still waiting on a University expansion, but I’ll just cross my fingers for something announced in late 2019 / early 2020. 🀞

What I Watched:

🌈 Always Be My Maybe (Netflix) – I don’t normally watch romantic type movies, but the trailer for this one made me laugh and my boss recommended it, so I gave it a shot. It’sΒ so cute! I loved it and keep telling people to watch it. (Go now!)

🌈 Charmed (Netflix)Β – I used to rush home from high school every afternoon to catch the latest episodes of Charmed, so I’m obviously a big fan of the original. I’ve even been rewatching it lately with my roommate, since he’s never seen the whole thing! Naturally, I was wary of the remake – but it’s actually pretty entertaining. There are some heavy handed bits of social commentary, but after watching the recentΒ Sabrina show, I feel like I’ve seen it handled worse, so I don’t mind it at all!

What I Played:Β

🌈 Hitman 2 (Steam)

🌈 Overwatch (Battle.net)

  1. I want you to play Overwatch with me (except I am so so bad at it), but I actually just enjoy watching hubs play. And also OWL. Let me know if you ever play with Broggy (that’s hubs) or CrankyPants (that’s my account, but hubs plays on it more than I do). x

  2. I really love how you lay out your weekend wrap-ups and even include what you watched and played! Would you mind if I stole some of your ideas to tweak my Sunday Post layout? I’ll give you credit, of course πŸ’•πŸ€—

Have something to say? Tell me!
