So, I got a little behind this week because of Sims, and I’m not sorry about it! The game released on Thursday night for me, and outside of working all my jobs this week, that’s where most of my focus has been! I did also manage to finish a few commissions, mail out some Etsy orders, and start a new book – but overall, I’ve not been quite as productive as normal.
Well, maybe that’s not true – I did go through and organize all my CC for the Sims, so that counts, right? 😛
I do have something exciting in the works that I’d been waiting on officially announcing. I’ll have mugs and tote bags in my shop. They’ll be available during very limited releases, by pre-order only, so make sure you follow my various social media accounts to stay in the loop – the first release starts tomorrow!
See below for photos of them; I love how they came out and can’t stop staring! Seeing my own artwork and paintings on physical items is so weirdly surreal! I’m so proud, haha.
I’ve also done a bit of work on some new embroidery designs I won’t be listing in the shop, but plan to do just for fun/me. I don’t do enough things “just because I want to”, mostly everything is driven by work or review deadlines or events dates. I’ve been trying to get better about this, and take some time to do things just because I genuinely have fun & like doing them (hence my Simming without guilt!).
So, maybe next week will be more productive! Or maybe it’ll include more fun me-time? We’ll see. 🙂 Either way, this one has been really good, so I’m just going to appreciate it & be thankful!

🌈 Psych (Amazon Prime) – I badgered one of my friends into recommending something new for me to watch, and this is what I got! I like it so far, I think I’d actually seen it on TV in a hotel room or something before.

I want Sims Island Living so much but am bitter about the price, so it might be awhile before I can live my best mermaid life lol
It’ll probably go on sale soon!! Tbh I’m a Sims fangirl, I buy everything when it comes out ’cause I’ve got terrible FOMO and I’m worried I’ll get behind, but I have a bunch of friends who scored some amazing deals during sales and stocked up!! I will say this is my fav one and I think it’s worth the full price, whereas some (like Strangertown or Vampires), I’d wait for a sale! I hope you like it when you get it ❤
Yea I am waiting for a sale – I picked up Vampires in June when it was on sale and am having a lot of fun with it, but I feel like Island Living will be like a full on new game. I can’t wait!
