Weekly Wrap-Up: June 30, 2019

Another week, done! This year is flying by, who can believe today is the last day of JUNE?! I feel like we’ve just barely started, and yet here we are! Over halfway through!

I’ve had a bit of a slower week work-wise, which has been a great relief to me. My art instructor job had more shifts than normal, but they all wentย really well – I absolutely love having kind, appreciative people in my classes! Sometimes there are rude folks, but the majority are great, and it makes showing up and helping them so worth the effort. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve also caught up on a lot of stuff, had a big shop release for pre-orders (as mentioned last Sunday!), and things are going well. I’ve not read as much as I’d like to have this week, but I have gotten a good amount of posts scheduled and will be working on a few reviews upcoming soon. I’ve been hesitant to finish too many books since I have a huge stack leering over me at every moment I’m sat at my desk, threatening me with a knife practically I swear, ’cause I’ve finished them all but have yet to write up my ~official thoughts~. Soon, friends, put the knife away!

Anyway, I don’t have a lot of excitement this way right now. Things are settling into a solid routine, which I enjoy and am satisfied with for the moment. I need to nail down this posting schedule thing, but I’ve consistently had these Sunday ones for awhile now, so we’re getting there – right? Wish me luck, haha.

What I Read:

๐ŸŒˆ I didn’t finish anything this week because I AM A FAILURE!ย Ring your bells and shout ‘shame’ at me, I deserve it. ๐Ÿ˜‚

What I’m Reading Now:

๐ŸŒˆ Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by JK Rowling (Audiobook)

๐ŸŒˆย Something in the Water by Eddie Generous

๐ŸŒˆย The Invitedย by Jennifer McMahon

๐ŸŒˆย FantasticLand by Mike Bockoven (reread with my #bookstaghouls reading group!)

What I Watched:

๐ŸŒˆ The Officeย (Netflix) – I will never stop watching this. Netflix announced it’d have to take it down in 2021 because NBC is adding it to their own streaming service, and I’m salty af about it.

๐ŸŒˆย Psych (Amazon Prime) – I’m still in the first season ’cause I’m slow, whatever! It’s really good to watch while I’m embroidering!

๐ŸŒˆ ย Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Netflix) – This was just added to Netflix this week! I’m obsessed, I love everything about it. It possibly replacesย Spider-Man 2 as my favorite Spider-movie; it’s got Miles AND Spider-Man Noir, who are my two favorites!

๐ŸŒˆ ย Murder Mystery (2019) (Netflix) – I didn’t expect to be as amused by this as I was, and I really liked it! Adam Sandler is basically the same in everything, but both he and Jennifer Aniston made me laugh a lot. I also really just love murder mystery as a trope – it’s so good! I never get sick of it; I’ll play Clue for hours and won’t get bored.

What I Played:ย

๐ŸŒˆย Overwatchย (Battle.net)

๐ŸŒˆ The Sims 4 (Origin)

๐ŸŒˆ Killing Floor 2 (Steam)

๐ŸŒˆ Stardew Valley (Steam)

๐ŸŒˆ House Flipper (Steam)

I played more video games than normal this week, which probably accounts for not finishing any books, oops!

What I Listened To:ย

๐ŸŒˆ Blood –ย In This Moment

๐ŸŒˆย “Cupid” – pH-1 ft. Penomeco

๐ŸŒˆย “Fentanyl” – McCafferty

๐ŸŒˆย “Hope” – The Chainsmokers ft. Winona Oak
