Weekly Wrap-Up: July 7, 2019

Okay, so when I tell people my “main hobby” is books, and then I go 2 weeks without finishing a single one despite being about halfway through like 5 of them – I think I sort of get a bit of my “book nerd” cred revoked. Is book nerd cred a thing? I’ve made it a thing, and now I’m revoking it from myself in the spirit of book nerdiness. 🀷

In addition to a book lover, I’m also a video game lover, an art lover, and a Veronica Mars lover. So, that’s where a lot of my time went this week – plus work, although IΒ did somehow manage to have nearly 5 days off in a row this weekend thanks to the holiday & one of my jobs being closed!

I created over 20 new embroidery patterns, and am having so much fun figuring out what does/doesn’t work when doing them. I’ll be embroidering them all soon, and I’ll be sure to share them here! I’m also planning on selling DIY Embroidery Kits & PDF Files of patterns in my Etsy soon – so if you love to do embroidery, or even if you want to just learn, these will help! I need to work on creating a “how to stitch guide”, which is what’s currently holding me back, but soon! πŸ™‚ Maybe I’ll have another 4 day weekend sometime… Ha!

What I Watched:

🌈 Veronica MarsΒ (Hulu) – Veronica Mars is one of my all-time favorite shows, and with the new episodes coming, I had to rewatch it! My roommate’s never seen it before beyond the first episode, so we’re watching it together. It’s so good! I’ve been binge watching it all week.

What I Played:Β

🌈 Killing Floor 2 (Steam)

🌈 Stardew Valley (Steam) I love this game so much! And the co-op! Playing it with a friend is awesome, you can have a shared farm! If any of my friends have it and want to start farms lol, let a girl know.

  1. I have also been watching Veronica Mars in lieu of reading! I plowed through to season three in a couple of days and am now trying to pace myself so I don’t go through withdrawals waiting for the 26th.

  2. I’ve also been gaming instead of reading, so at least you’re not alone! πŸ˜… Hopefully we’ll find a good balance soon. I love SDV, but I’ve still never played co-op, so I would love to try it out with you sometime if you’re down! β™₯

  3. You DEFINITELY DON’T lose book nerd cred if you’ve been binge watching Veronica Mars. As a fellow Marshmallow, I think that definitely still keeps all the creds!! (Also making a new Marshmallow gives you BONUS creds) πŸ’•
