Weekly Wrap-Up: August 4, 2019

I think I’m maybe officially in my first reading slump of 2019?! I made it over halfway without this and yet, here we are, with me barely having read anything recently! In my defense, I’ve been working and stressing over life stuff, but that has started to lessen a bit, and will continue getting better, so! I have done more embroidery this week, which is good – as long as I’m reading or creating something, I’m satisfied! Preferably both, but what can you do? 😛

Today is my last day officially with my fourth job, so going into this next week, I’ll only have 3!! I plan to increase my hours a bit with two of the others, and also spend some time adding embroidery-related things to my Etsy. I’ve also got some new mugs & tote bag designs coming soon!! 😀 If you follow me on social media, you’ve probably seen a sneak peek of those!

I do have a good little August TBR of books I’ve been wanting to get to, so I’ll hopefully have more to report reading-wise soon! I also picked up My Lovely Wife from the library finally, and I’m hooked – it’s like Dexter meets Mr & Mrs Smith, and I’m super about that life, hahaha.

I can’t believe it’s already August! This month is probably going to fly by – I’m seeing McCafferty in less than a week now, and Zack will be visiting a week after that! I’ll be in Napa for a really cool wine cave wedding as a vendor later this month, and then my birthday is in September, so things don’t really show any signs of slowing down – which is good, ’cause I like staying busy! 😀

🌈 Killing Floor 2 (Steam) – I’m learning that I really only like using guns that spray bullets or fire at everything; chaos over precision, I guess!

🌈 Dead by Daylight (Steam) – Zack is way better at this than I am, but he gives me tips when we play so I can survive some of the time now! 😀
