November 2019 Wrap-Up

This month has been another whirlwind, but in a good way! I’ve been busy with holiday prep festivities both at home and at work. We’re sending out New Years mailers for one job, which means packing up THOUSANDS of bags of confetti, cutting tons of washi tape, and packing everything up to be sent out. For two of my other jobs, we’re getting into the busiest season, so I have lots of events – I’ll be spending lots of time in San Francisco this month! – and classes to teach scheduled. And thanks to the wonderful food holiday that is Thanksgiving, my grocery deliveries have been super busy, too! I ย definitely need all the work, ’cause two of my jobs are closed for the weeks of Thanksgiving & Christmas, meaning I’ve got to compensate for finances somehow – so I am grateful to stay swamped, tbh!

I’ve also managed to get a decent chunk of reading done – either by physical book, ebook, or audiobook – and I’m on top of all my commissions and Etsy orders currently. Being on track with things feels so much better than being behind, which is probably common sense, but when you’re super busy, it can be all too easy to fall behind on things. I’m happy to be catching up – the Thanksgiving vacation helped so much!

I’m really looking forward to all of December, and can’t wait for Christmas!
